Here is a another design I put together for a friendship garden at Hobonsville Primary. The aim of this design was to create garden rooms to suit different functions, whilst still being visible from all areas in and surrounding the site. The rooms were to function as a quiet area and a stage area. The quiet room also contains a water feature to provide a calm atmosphere. The design also represents the importance of sustainability by selection of renewable materials and eventually plant species that will increase the biodiversity within Hobonsville Primary.
This design aims to teach children the importance of sustainability whilst providing an area to display and promote art throughout the school. It will be a community project that the children can help fabricate, teaching them the importance of designing for the future.
